Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to Magda@endlesslandscape.co.nz if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Design and gardening bring different strengths, and together they offer a complete approach.

Design shapes your space. Gardening keeps it healthy as it matures. This creates a garden that feels considered, alive, and easier to look after.

You can choose the level of help that suits you.

Many people feel this way, especially when a garden has fallen behind.

We can start small and work through one area at a time. This creates steady progress without the pressure to commit to everything at once.

You will have time to see the garden change and to feel comfortable with each step.

A concept gives your ideas clarity and structure. It shows how everything fits together and highlights opportunities you may not have noticed. It also helps with budgeting, planning, and long-term decisions.

Think of it as a guide that supports both design and gardening work.

That is completely fine. You can book support for a single bed, a slope, an edible area, or a corner that does not feel right.

Small areas often create the biggest sense of relief and progress. They are a good place to start.

Most design work takes around four to six weeks.

This allows time for site visits, research, planning, and the final presentation. We pride ourselves on constant communication and clarity. We talk through all the steps with full transparency, so you know what will happen and when.

This depends on the size of the garden and the season.

We guide and discuss timeframes before any work is carried out. Some work is completed in one visit. Larger projects are often easier when done in stages. This keeps the work organised and gives you room to see how the garden evolves as we go.

Yes. We source healthy plants that suit local conditions and we can organise soil, mulch, compost, edging, and other materials. Delivery and installation can be arranged as well. You will know what to expect before anything arrives on site.

While we can assist with smaller hardscape installations, we are in contact with skilled landscapers who are able to assist with our design installations. We provide design guidance during the process, if desired.

Yes. We work with slopes, clay soil, exposed coastal gardens, and older gardens that need renewal. Our focus is on thoughtful planning and planting that grows well over time.

We recommend plant grades based on site specifications. Larger grades are often used where early shelter is important or where planting needs to frame and soften hard surfaces. These choices give the garden some structure at the beginning, while still allowing it to grow in a natural way.

In the first year, you will see early shape.

,By the second year the garden begins to settle.

In the third year, most planting has grown into its form. Full maturity continues to develop well beyond this. We design and plant with this natural pace in mind so the garden feels balanced at each stage and has the time it needs to grow into itself.

Your first audit visit, usually around the six-month mark, is free of charge. It is a chance to walk the garden together, talk through what we see, and make sure everything is moving in the right direction.

We encourage follow-up audit visits where we walk through the garden with fresh eyes, check how everything is growing, and make gentle adjustments where needed. This helps the garden stay healthy and keeps the design aligned with the way nature is moving.
